Christopher earned his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1990, and his MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in 2007. In the years between his degrees he founded and ran two blown glass design companies, Gale Glass and Watts Hot Glass, the latter of which he still operates with his wife, Sarah Watts.  He has taught at numerous colleges and studios including Massachusetts College of Art and Design, MIT, Diablo Glass School, Boston University and Sunderland University in England.  He has had the honor of working with many of today’s outstanding glass and multi-media artists, and is regarded in the glass community as being a master glassblower.

Christopher is a full time artist based in Boston where his studio is located at Diablo Glass School.  He has exhibited his work in group, two person and solo shows throughout the US, and his work is held in numerous private and public collections.  In 1998-99 he was honored with a year long artist’s residency at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland, England.  His work has been included and reviewed in various publications including 25 Years of New Glass Review published by the Corning Museum of Glass.
